Summary
This study is testing a new blood test that uses CRISPR technology to find tuberculosis (TB) in children more accurately than current methods. The test looks for tiny bits of TB DNA in the blood, which is easier to get than the samples usually needed. Researchers will enroll about 1,220 children in Bolivia to see how well the test works, especially in kids who are hard to diagnose. If successful, this could make TB diagnosis faster and more accessible in places with limited resources.
