Summary

This study compares a new radiation method (total lymphoid irradiation) with standard total body radiation in children receiving stem cell transplants from half-matched donors. The goal is to see if the new method reduces complications like graft failure and graft-versus-host disease. About 23 children with blood disorders will take part.
