New hope for kids with incurable cancers: blocking tumor blood flow
NCT ID NCT07136571
Summary
This early-stage study tested whether a minimally invasive procedure could safely be used to control advanced pediatric soft tissue sarcomas. It aimed to block the blood supply to tumors in children and young adults (ages 2-18) whose cancers had not responded to standard treatments. The main goal was to see if the procedure was technically possible and safe, while also checking if it helped control local tumor growth and improved quality of life.
