Summary

This study is testing whether a drug called aficamten is safe and effective for children and teenagers with a genetic condition that causes the heart muscle to thicken, making it harder to pump blood. Participants will take the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks, followed by a longer period where everyone can receive the drug. The goal is to see if the drug reduces the heart's obstruction and improves symptoms like shortness of breath and fatigue.
