New scan tested to spot Kids' tummy troubles

NCT ID NCT07113808

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of ultrasound scan, which uses a safe contrast dye injected into a vein, can help doctors better diagnose abdominal problems in children. Researchers at multiple hospitals in China will perform these scans on children with suspected tumors, injuries, or unexplained fluid buildup in the abdomen. The goal is to see how accurate this method is and to create standard guidelines for doctors performing it.
