NCT ID NCT06559137

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a single-shot nerve block (using ropivacaine) can lower pain and the need for narcotic pain pills in children and teens after ACL reconstruction. About 160 participants aged 13 and older will either receive the nerve block during surgery or not. They will report their pain levels and pill use for one week after surgery to see if the nerve block makes a meaningful difference.
