Stroke rehab showdown: does more therapy mean better recovery?

NCT ID NCT07253974

First seen Nov 28, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study follows 213 adults who had a stroke caused by atrial fibrillation and are in inpatient rehab. Researchers want to see if patients with this type of stroke have different recovery needs and if more intense rehab (3-5 sessions daily) leads to better function at six months compared to standard rehab (1 session daily). The study only observes usual care, so no new treatments are tested.
