Plant power vs. dairy: the protein showdown for your muscles
NCT ID NCT07420933
Summary
This study aimed to see if pea protein works as well as the popular whey protein for helping people build muscle and strength. Thirty-four healthy young adults who were not regular exercisers took either pea or whey protein twice a day while doing a supervised weight training program for eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in their muscle mass, strength, and how their bodies processed the protein.
