First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study compares a natural substance called palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) to ibuprofen for pain after a kidney stone procedure. About 120 adults will receive either PEA or ibuprofen, and their pain levels will be tracked for 24 hours. The goal is to see if PEA can be a safer alternative to common painkillers.
