First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a powerful cholesterol-lowering drug (PCSK9 inhibitor) very early in the hospital, on top of standard care, can reduce the risk of another heart attack, stroke, or death in people who just had a heart attack and have blockages in multiple heart arteries. About 1,518 adults will be followed for 12 months. The goal is to see if this approach stabilizes dangerous plaques better than standard treatment alone.
