Fertility breakthrough? study tests whether adding common drug boosts pregnancy chances for women with PCOS
NCT ID NCT07323589
Summary
This completed Phase 3 study compared two treatments to help overweight women with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) get pregnant. Researchers tested whether myo-inositol alone works as well as myo-inositol combined with metformin at improving pregnancy rates. The study also looked at which treatment caused fewer side effects and was easier for women to stick with over six months.
