Can a short course make hospital staff safer with pain pumps?

NCT ID NCT07359118

Summary

This study tested whether a structured training program could improve healthcare workers' knowledge and attitudes about patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps. PCA pumps let patients self-administer pain medication safely after surgery. Researchers surveyed 242 doctors, nurses, and technicians before and after the training to see if their understanding improved.
