First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a one-time training session can improve how healthcare professionals understand and use patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps for pain after surgery. About 242 doctors, nurses, and other staff filled out a quiz before and after the training. The goal was to see if their knowledge and attitudes got better, which could help patients get safer and more effective pain relief.
