First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests if a special light treatment, called photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT), can improve how scars look and feel after a facial wound is stitched up. About 36 people with facial cuts will receive either the light therapy or a fake treatment after their stitches are removed. Researchers will check scar quality at 3 and 12 months using a standard rating scale.
