Summary
This study tested whether an experimental medication called PBK_L1704 works better than a placebo (inactive pill) at reducing pain after bunion surgery. It involved 182 patients in South Korea who had moderate to severe pain following their operation. Researchers measured how much pain relief patients experienced over 48 hours and how often they needed to use additional rescue pain medication.
