New hope for PBC 'Brain Fog': supervised exercise program aims to tackle debilitating fatigue
NCT ID NCT07161245
Summary
This study is testing if a special program of supervised exercise, nutritional advice, and psychological support can reduce the severe fatigue that affects many people with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). Researchers will enroll 64 adults with PBC and significant fatigue to see if the program improves their energy, quality of life, and brain function. The study will also investigate how the program might change inflammation and body chemistry to understand why it works.
