Who's in charge of your sleep? patients vs doctors in sedation study

NCT ID NCT06451380

Summary

This study tested whether letting patients control their own sedation during arm surgery leads to higher satisfaction compared to having an anesthesiologist control it. 70 adults having arm surgery with regional anesthesia were randomly assigned to either control their own sedation or have the doctor control it. The main goal was to see which group reported a better overall experience.
