Summary
This study aims to understand how well patients grasp the information they receive before major abdominal cancer surgery and how their expectations compare to their actual recovery. Researchers will follow 90 patients undergoing surgeries like pancreatic or liver removal, asking them about their understanding, expectations, and feelings of regret before and after the operation. The goal is to learn how to better support patients in making informed decisions and improve their overall experience.
