First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested custom-made titanium plates for fixing broken jaw bones. Ten adults with displaced mandibular angle fractures received plates designed from their own CT scans. The goal was to see if these personalized plates improve surgical accuracy, reduce pain and swelling, and speed up healing compared to standard plates. Results suggest better bone alignment and fewer complications.
