Can a personal guide help you lose weight?
NCT ID NCT03674229
Summary
This study is testing whether having a health coach, called a patient navigator, helps obese adults enroll in and stick with proven weight management programs. Researchers are comparing two groups: one gets basic program information, while the other gets that information plus regular phone support from a coach. The goal is to see if the extra support leads to more people joining programs, attending more sessions, and making positive changes in diet, activity, and weight.
