First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether having patients write a short note about their personal goals before a check-up would lead to more conversations about their future care. Twenty adults with ongoing health conditions took part. The main goal was to see if these notes helped doctors and patients talk about what matters most to the patient.
