Simple survey aims to get patients and doctors on the same page
NCT ID NCT05637489
Summary
This study tested a short survey called PING, designed to help patients share their personal health goals and preferences with their care team. Twenty patients with chronic diseases were randomly assigned to either complete the survey with a nurse or receive their usual clinic visit. Researchers then checked if having the survey led to more conversations about care goals being documented in the patient's medical record.
