Summary
This study looked at whether structured education from a nurse could help patients feel less anxious and have a better quality of life when undergoing shock wave treatment for kidney stones. 188 adults having this treatment for the first time took part. The education aimed to reduce worry and improve well-being by explaining the procedure clearly.
