New hope program aims to lift spirits of advanced lung cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a short supportive program called Pathways to see if it can improve mental health and quality of life for people being treated for advanced lung cancer. About 234 adults with stage 3 or 4 lung cancer who are 3-12 weeks into treatment will take part. Participants will either receive the Pathways program or standard care, and researchers will track changes in depression, anxiety, and hope over 12 weeks.
