Kneecap study: does surgery keep young athletes stable?

Summary
This study looks at 240 people aged 25 and younger who have dislocated their kneecap once. Half will get surgery to repair a key ligament, and half will get non-surgical care. The goal is to see which approach better prevents the kneecap from slipping out of place again over the next 5 years.
