Summary
This study tested a new device called the PASCAL system to fix a leaky mitral heart valve. Doctors used a catheter to place the device in 124 patients with severe valve leakage, aiming to reduce backflow and improve heart failure symptoms. The main goal was to see if the procedure was safe and effective at controlling the valve problem.
