Summary

This study aims to understand how support from a partner affects a first-time mother's confidence in parenting and her risk of postpartum depression. Researchers are surveying 193 mothers within their first year after childbirth to measure their perceived partner support, parenting confidence, and depressive symptoms. The goal is to learn how strong partner support might help new mothers adapt and reduce mental health risks during this challenging transition.
