Summary
This study tested whether a new drug called suvecaltamide could help reduce moderate to severe tremor in people with Parkinson's disease whose shaking is not adequately controlled by their current medications. Over 17 weeks, 169 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or a placebo to compare effects. The main goal was to see if the drug improved tremor severity and its impact on daily activities like eating and dressing.
