Brain pulses tested to ease Parkinson's struggles

NCT ID NCT06676995

Summary

This small study tested whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS) could improve various Parkinson's disease symptoms. Researchers enrolled 14 patients to see if TPS was safe, practical, and could make a noticeable difference in movement, thinking, mood, and other daily challenges. The goal was to check if this approach, which showed promise for Alzheimer's, might also help manage Parkinson's symptoms.
