Could a simple blood test track Parkinson's progression?

NCT ID NCT07163156

Summary

This study aims to understand if levels of a hormone called prolactin and signs of inflammation in the blood are linked to how severe Parkinson's disease is. Researchers will enroll 300 people with Parkinson's to collect blood and saliva samples and assess their symptoms. The goal is to find simple, non-invasive markers that could help doctors better understand and predict the course of the disease.
