First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether it's possible to use wearable motion sensors and brain scans to track Parkinson's disease symptoms when patients stop their medication for a week. Twenty people with early-stage Parkinson's took part. The goal was to see if these tools could help design better future trials for treatments that might slow the disease.
