Scientists scan Parkinson's patients to map hidden body changes
NCT ID NCT07006376
Summary
This study aimed to understand how Parkinson's disease affects the body's connective tissue and movement. Researchers compared 80 people with Parkinson's to healthy adults, using ultrasound scans to measure tissue thickness and simple movement tests. The goal was to gather knowledge about physical changes in Parkinson's, not to test a treatment.
