Scientists track daily life to unlock Parkinson's puzzle
NCT ID NCT07424924
Summary
This study aims to understand how walking difficulties, balance problems, daily activity levels, and sleep quality are connected in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will compare 17 people with Parkinson's to 17 healthy adults of similar age, using walking tests, balance assessments, and a week of activity and sleep tracking with a smart band. The goal is to learn if these challenges are specific to Parkinson's or related to normal aging, to help guide better management strategies.
