First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests two different rehabilitation programs for people with Parkinson's disease who have trouble with balance and walking. One group does dual-task training (walking while doing a mental task) combined with watching and imagining movements, while the other group does dual-task training alone. The goal is to see which approach improves mobility and thinking, and to find biomarkers that predict who benefits most. The study involves 80 participants and lasts 28 weeks.
