Summary
This early-stage trial tests the safety of taking a small piece of nerve tissue from a person's leg and placing it into a key brain area during deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery for Parkinson's disease. Ten participants will be followed for 12 months, then yearly for life. The goal is to see if this added step is safe and feasible.
