Video games prescribed for Parkinson's patients at home
NCT ID NCT04720365
Summary
This study is testing whether using a special video game system at home can help people with Parkinson's disease who have trouble walking and keeping their balance. 80 participants will be split into two groups: one will use the video game therapy along with their usual care for a year, while the other continues with usual care alone. The main goal is to see if this game-based therapy is a cost-effective way to improve patients' quality of life and reduce falls.
