First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study is testing whether special smart socks can accurately measure walking and balance in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will compare the socks' readings to lab equipment and track falls over time. The goal is to see if these socks can help predict who might fall, but no treatment or cure is being tested. About 60 people with mild to moderate Parkinson's will participate.
