Summary
This small study tested a new training method to help people with Parkinson's disease improve their balance and prevent falls. Researchers had 12 participants practice recovering their balance from unexpected pushes while walking on a treadmill. The goal was to see if this specific training could help the brain and body react faster to prevent a fall.
