New pill aims to give Parkinson's patients more good hours each day

Summary

This study is testing an oral medication called CVN424 to see if it can help people with Parkinson's disease who experience 'OFF' periods, when their standard medications wear off and symptoms return. About 330 participants will take either one of two doses of the drug or a placebo pill daily for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug safely reduces the amount of daily 'OFF' time and improves movement and quality of life.
