Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational drug called BHV-8000 can slow the progression of Parkinson's disease in people recently diagnosed. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo in 550 adults to see if it helps maintain daily function and movement abilities over 48 weeks. The goal is to find a treatment that can control the disease and delay worsening symptoms.
