Listening to the brain to Fine-Tune Parkinson's treatment

NCT ID NCT07485621

Summary

This study aims to see if recordings of the brain's electrical activity can help doctors choose the best settings for deep brain stimulation (DBS) devices in Parkinson's disease. Researchers will compare settings chosen using these brain signals to the settings doctors normally pick based on a patient's symptoms. The goal is to gather knowledge that might make future DBS programming more precise and effective.
