NCT ID NCT07080775

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether injecting special nerve cells into the brain is safe for people with advanced Parkinson's disease. The cells are made from stem cells in a lab and are meant to replace damaged brain cells that control movement. The trial involves 12 adults aged 50 to 75 who have had Parkinson's for at least 5 years and experience significant 'off' time when their usual medications stop working well.
