Brain zap study seeks Parkinson's walking clues

NCT ID NCT07351032

Summary

This research study aims to understand how a specific brain area helps people with Parkinson's disease transfer walking skills learned on a special treadmill to regular ground walking. Researchers will use non-invasive brain stimulation on 24 participants to see if boosting brain activity improves this skill transfer. The study measures walking patterns before and after stimulation to learn how the brain controls movement in Parkinson's.
