Scientists test new balance tracker for Parkinson's patients

NCT ID NCT07327346

Summary

This study aims to check if a small wearable sensor called GYKO can reliably measure balance problems during walking tests in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will have 25 participants with mild to moderate Parkinson's perform simple walking and turning tests while wearing the sensor, and then repeat the tests a week later. The goal is to see if the sensor gives consistent measurements over time and between different testers, which could help doctors better track balance changes.
