NCT ID NCT04064827
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested a liquid medicine called paricalcitol in children aged 0 to 9 years with severe kidney disease who are on dialysis. The goal was to see if the drug could safely lower high parathyroid hormone levels, a common complication. Only 2 children enrolled before the study was stopped early, so results are very limited.
