NCT ID NCT06996067

First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 6-week text message program can help new parents feel more confident and less anxious or depressed after their first baby. About 332 parents in Nova Scotia will either receive the texts or not, and researchers will compare their confidence, anxiety, and stress levels at 6 weeks and 6 months. The goal is to see if simple, trusted information sent by phone can make the early weeks of parenthood easier.
