New therapy aims to ease the mental strain on parents of children with eating difficulties

NCT ID NCT06001398

Summary

This small pilot study tested a brief, two-session therapy program designed to help parents of children with pediatric feeding disorders. Thirty parents were randomly assigned to receive either the new therapy or a comparison education program. Researchers wanted to see if the therapy could meaningfully reduce parent stress, anxiety, and depression, and to check if running a larger study on this approach would be practical.
