NCT ID NCT04911036
Summary
This study aims to understand how the timing of a serious birth defect diagnosis affects parents' stress and trauma. Researchers will survey 240 mothers and fathers of children who had surgery for esophageal atresia. They will compare stress levels between parents who learned the diagnosis before birth versus after birth to see if earlier knowledge helps.
