Touch therapy may boost bonding for preterm babies

Summary

This study looks at whether a special program of gentle touch and movement (sensory-tonic stimulation) can improve the way very premature babies interact with their parents and develop social thinking. About 120 babies born before 32 weeks will take part. Researchers will film play sessions and measure bonding and social understanding.
