Could a Parent's mindset ease a Child's surgery pain?
NCT ID NCT07381673
Summary
This study aims to understand if a parent's confidence in supporting their child's independence is linked to how much pain the child feels after minor surgery. Researchers will observe 150 children (ages 3-18) and their parents at a hospital in Turkey. Parents will fill out a survey about their confidence, and children's pain will be measured after surgery using a standard faces scale.
